About Us
Case Sport was established in 1988 by Andrew Case based at the Laurie Arms Hotel in the Haugh of Urr, Nr Castle Douglas, south west Scotland.
Originally from St Helens, Merseyside, Andrew had spent his childhood holidaying in the area as well as pursuing country sports with his father. In 1988 he acquired the Laurie Arms Hotel and from this point began arranging sporting holidays.
Andrew and Case Sport then moved on to the Urr Valley Hotel in Castle Douglas and then again to the Clachan Inn at St Johns Town of Dalry in 1999 which became a very popular sporting venue ideally located to some of Galloway’s finest sporting estates as well as some of the most diverse countryside which offers some excellent game habitat.
The Clachan Inn was completely refurbished to a high standard following a closure of two years with specific thought to country sports and it’s participants. Bedrooms with drying facilities and gun cabinets, roaring log fires not to mention the large collection of sporting memorabilia made this an excellent venue to complete the clients experience of sporting holidays in Scotland. The Clachan was sold in 2003 but Case Sport continues to use the hotel as a central base for it’s clients.
Case Sport has assisted clients from all over the world to experience some magnificent sporting holidays in this wonderful and diverse area and believes that a combination of good quality, value for money sport along with good traditional hospitality has been the recipe for success with many clients returning year on year.
