Trout & Salmon Fishing
The Scottish Borders and Galloway are blessed with some fine trout
lochs and some excellent rivers for both salmon and sea trout. The river Nith,
Cree, Bladnoch to name but a few provide spate water and good runs of fish
whilst local trout lochs produce hard fighting brown trout as well regularly
stocked rainbows.
Southern Scotland has often been underestimated as a
trout fishing venue. Hidden lochs, many private and secret stretches of rivers
produce some fantastic sport of rainbow and the wild and elusive brown trout.
We hope to point you in the right direction, introducing you to some superb
lochs and local rivers that will test even the most experienced anglers.
