Traditional Rough Shooting

Rough shooting is possibly the most rewarding of all types of game shooting testing the sportsman’s fitness and agility to hunt wild game over mixed countryside. A mixed bag rather than numbers is always our priority to offer the sportsman a real experience of traditional shooting over well trained gundogs amongst some of Scotland most scenic and diverse countryside.

Pheasants, partridges, snipe and woodcock as well as rabbits are all acceptable quarry on the day which can be concluded with a dusk flight at one of our many flight ponds for wild duck which include mallard, teal and widgeon.

Our rough shooting packages are suitable for parties up to 4 guns who wish to enjoy a relaxed and sociable day with good company.
